Craps is very easy to play. The current player rolls a seven and the game starts. After the current player rolls a seven a new player is given the dice. Before rolling the dice the new player has to make a bet. The player makes either a pass line bet or a don't pass bet. Only after placing a bet the player rolls the dice, which is called the "comeout roll". If the total rolled is 7 or 11 it is called a ‘pass’. In the case of a pass pass line bets win and don’t pass line bets lose. If the total rolled is 2,3,12 it is called ‘craps’. In the case of craps don’t pass line bets win, pass line bets lose. 12 is not taken for ‘craps’ in Las Vegas and 2 is not taken for ‘craps’ in Tahoe. If the total is any other number this number is called a place number or a point number. In the case of a ‘point’ the shooter continues to roll until that "point" is rolled again, which is called "making the point". With "making the point" "pass line" bets win and "don't pass" bets lose. ’Sevening out’ is the same as rolling a 7. If a 7 is rolled before the second point number "pass line" bets lose and "don't pass" bets win. If a player sevens out, his turn is over and the whole process begins again with a new player. In the case of a “point” number players can choose one of the bets. You can make bets on each subsequent roll of the dice until a 7 is rolled.

The intricacy of rules, betting options, and payout ratios make Craps unique among casino games. Many Craps bets offer very favorable odds to the player. If you bet wisely, you can keep the house’s advantage to a very small percentage (about 0.6% in the best cases). Among the best bets are Pass and Come, especially when you take advantage of the associated free odds bets. The main advantage of Craps is that all you need is a pair of dice and a few friends. It is the casino version of the game that gives Craps its reputation of being a fast paced, exciting game. Players often begin with Craps in the casino because it is one of the easiest games. The main idea of the game is that you place a bet on what is referred to as the “passline bet”. All players place bets and then a pair of dice is rolled. If the total of 7 or 11 is rolled it is a win. If the total rolled is 12,3 or 2 it is a loss. If the total is any other number except 7,11,12,3,2 this number is called a point number. In the case of a point number this number has to be rolled again before 7 , if it happens you win. If the total of 7 is rolled before the point number it is a loss. There is one more bet available for Craps players. Odds bet means that the casino does not have its usual house advantage and it also hedges on true odds. At some casinos players can be taught the rules and the strategy of the game. At some casinos you can play for free before playing for real money. As a Guest Player you can watch the game of other players and then begin playing yourself for real money. It is very interesting to watch other people playing Craps. Line bets.
If you want to make a line bet, you place your money on the area of the table that says "Pass Line" or "Don't Pass". You have to choose either ‘Pass line’ or ‘don’t pass line’ bet. Line bets pay even money if they win. You place your bet on a ‘pass line bet’ area if you think that the shooter will roll 7 or 11 on the comeout roll or that the shooter will role one of the point numbers and will roll it again before rolling a 7 (sevening out). If you think that the shooter will roll 2 or 3 on the comeout roll or will roll a 7 after rolling a point number and before rolling this point number again you choose a ‘don’t pass line bet’ area. The Pass Line Bet is one of the most common wagers in Craps. To make a pass line bet click on the Pass Line area of the table. If you have chosen a pass line bet and a 7 or 11 is rolled you win. If 2,3 or 12 is rolled you lose. If the point is rolled you are to continue rolling until you have the same number. If you roll the same number without rolling 7 you win. If you seven out before rolling the point number again you lose. The Pass Line Bet pays 1 to 1 odds. The Odds Bet isn’t as common as the pass line bet.

[A Come Bet is made when the shooter is going to repeat the point number. To make a come bet you have to click on the COME area of the craps table. If the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11 you win.
