New York Craps is one of the Craps variations. New York Craps is played along
the East coast of the United States. The table and the layout for New York craps
differ from the standard bank craps table, and it is called a double-end dealer.
There is no Come/Don’t Come betting area on the table for New York craps. New
York Craps eliminates the Place bets. Players bet on numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or
10, and the bets are paid at true odds. Be aware that the house takes a 5%
commission on each right bet.

Odds on a Line Bet.
If the point number is rolled on the comeout the player is allowed to take true odds against a 7 appearing before the point number is rolled again. You can bet an additional amount up to the amount of your line bet. The additional bet is called odds bet. The odds bet amount varies from casino to casino. In some casinos the odds bet amount is the amount equal to the line bet amount or lower. Some casinos allow making odds bets of two, three or even more times the amount of the line bet. The odds bet is paid at a rate equal to the odds of that point number being made before a 7 is rolled. To place an odd bet you have to place your money behind you pass line bet.
