Craps is very easy to play. The current player rolls a seven and the game starts. After the current player rolls a seven a new player is given the dice. Before rolling the dice the new player has to make a bet. The player makes either a pass line bet or a don't pass bet. ‘Comeout roll’ is another name for the process of rolling the dice. If the total rolled is 7 or 11 it is called a ‘pass’. In the case of a pass pass line bets win and don’t pass line bets lose. It is called ‘craps’ if the total rolled is 2,3,12. In the case of “craps” pass line bets lose and don’t pass line bets win. 12 is not taken for ‘craps’ in Las Vegas and 2 is not taken for ‘craps’ in Tahoe. If a 4,5,6,8,9,10 is rolled on the comeout that number is called a "place" number or a "point". In the case of a ‘point’ the shooter continues to roll until that "point" is rolled again, which is called "making the point". With "making the point" "pass line" bets win and "don't pass" bets lose. ’Sevening out’ is the same as rolling a 7. If a 7 is rolled before the second point number "pass line" bets lose and "don't pass" bets win. If a player sevens out, his turn is over and the whole process begins again with a new player. In the case of a “point” number players can choose one of the bets. You can make bets on each subsequent roll of the dice until a 7 is rolled.

Craps has its own extensive jargon like ‘boxcars’, ‘hard ways’ and ‘horn bet’. Craps is usually played on a large sunken table. A pair of dice is the main element of the game. The dice are thrown by the ‘shooter’. Shooter is a player who is currently holding the dice. Players place bets and the game starts. There are a number of bets to choose from. Carps is one of the most popular games in the USA. Craps is a fast and exciting game with a lot of action. The intricacy of rules, betting options, and payout ratios make Craps unique among casino games. Many Craps bets offer very favorable odds to the player. If you bet wisely, you can keep the house’s advantage to a very small percentage (about 0.6% in the best cases). Among the best bets are Pass and Come, especially when you take advantage of the associated free odds bets. The main advantage of Craps is that all you need is a pair of dice and a few friends. It is the casino version of the game that gives Craps its reputation of being a fast paced, exciting game. Players often begin with Craps in the casino because it is one of the easiest games. The main idea of the game is that you place a bet on what is referred to as the “passline bet”. All bets have to be made before the dice are rolled. The dice are rolled and if the total is 7 or 11 you win. You lose if you roll 12, 3 or 2. If the total is any other number except 7,11,12,3,2 this number is called a point number. In the case of a point number this number has to be rolled again before 7 , if it happens you win. If the total of 7 is rolled before the point number it is a loss. In addition to your original bet you can make one more bet. Odds bet means that the casino does not have its usual house advantage and it also hedges on true odds. At some casinos players can be taught the rules and the strategy of the game. Playing for free before playing for real money is available in some real and online casinos. Chop is a term , which designates dice action of win-lose, win-lose, win-lose, etc.
Come Bet is a craps bet made after the come out roll but in other respects exactly like a pass line bet.
Come-out Roll is the shooter’s initial throw of the dice after a Pass Line decision.
Crap Out is the numbers 2,3 or 12 on the first roll. All Craps Terms

There are several craps variations, which differ in rules, odds and settings.
Crapless Craps is one of the Craps variations. "Bastard Craps" is another name for Crapless Craps. Crapless Craps can be played in nearly every las Vegas casino. The main feature of the game is that a player cannot lose on the come out roll. If you throw a standard craps (2, 3 or 12) you don’t lose and the number becomes a point. Natural 11s on the come out become the point number. The natural 7 wins on the come out roll. The only way for the shooter to lose is to throw a 7 before the point. There is no Don’t Pass or Don’t Come area on the table. The game is simplier, but the house edge is approximately four times greater than in the crappy version of craps! All Craps Variations

There are several bets in Craps.
Line bets.
If you want to make a line bet, you place your money on the area of the table that says "Pass Line" or "Don't Pass". You have to choose either ‘Pass line’ or ‘don’t pass line’ bet. Line bets pay even money if they win. You place your bet on a ‘pass line bet’ area if you think that the shooter will roll 7 or 11 on the comeout roll or that the shooter will role one of the point numbers and will roll it again before rolling a 7 (sevening out). If you think that the shooter will roll 2 or 3 on the comeout roll or will roll a 7 after rolling a point number and before rolling this point number again you choose a ‘don’t pass line bet’ area. The Pass Line Bet is one of the most common wagers in Craps. To make a pass line bet click on the Pass Line area of the table. If you have chosen a pass line bet and a 7 or 11 is rolled you win. If 2,3 or 12 is rolled you lose. If the point is rolled you are to continue rolling until you have the same number. If you roll the same number without rolling 7 you win. If you seven out before rolling the point number again you lose. The Pass Line Bet pays 1 to 1 odds. The Odds Bet isn’t as common as the pass line bet.

Odds on a Line Bet.
If the point number is rolled on the comeout the player is allowed to take true odds against a 7 appearing before the point number is rolled again. You can bet an additional amount up to the amount of your line bet. The additional bet is called odds bet. The odds bet amount varies from casino to casino. In some casinos the odds bet amount is the amount equal to the line bet amount or lower. Some casinos allow making odds bets of two, three or even more times the amount of the line bet. The odds bet is paid at a rate equal to the odds of that point number being made before a 7 is rolled. To place an odd bet you have to place your money behind you pass line bet. Be aware that you will not find an area for the odds bets on the craps table. Remember that all the players are allowed to make odds bets, though the house doesn’t want to encourage odds bets. Remember that you can make an odds bet any time after a comeout point is rolled. Every player is allowed to make, to withdraw or to reinstate an odds bet anytime after the comeuot and before sevening out. In the case of a win take all the money and chips off the table. You have to take your chips off the table and if you want them to work further put them back on the table behind your line bet. At the casinos there is no special area for odds bets. The player should always remember that he has a right to make an odds bet. If you make an odds bet you believe that the shooter will roll the second point number before rolling a 7. To place an odds bet you have to click on the area behind the pass line area. Be aware that you can make an odds bet only if the shooter rolls a point number. If the point number is 4 or 10 you get paid 2:1. If the point number is 5 or 9 you get paid 3:2. If the point number is 6 or 8 you will be paid 6:5. Traditionally the bet odds are equal to the line bets. Some casinos allow to make odds bets which are higher than line bets.

[A Come Bet is made when the shooter is going to repeat the point number. To make a come bet you have to click on the COME area of the craps table. If the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11 you win. If the shooter has craps you lose. If there is a point number the bet is moved from the come area to the point-box indicating the point-number that the shooter must roll for that bet to win. If the point-number is rolled before a 7, you win. If you win in Come Bet the payout is 1:1. Odds bet on the Come bet. If you make an odds bet on the come bet you bet that the shooter will repeat the point-number before rolling 7. If the point number is 4 or 10 the payout is 2:1. If the point number is 5 or 9 the payoff is 3:2. If the point number is 6 or 8 the payout is 6:5.
The Buy Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without making a Pass Line or Come bet. Buy bets pay correct odds but you 5% will be taken out by the house. A buy bet wins if the number rolls before a 7. To make a Buy Bet you have to click on one of the numbers of the table. Buy bet is turned off by default during a come out roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet.
The Don't Pass Bet is the opposite of the Pass Line bet. Click on the corresponding area of the betting layout to make a Don't Pass bet. The Don't Pass Bet wins on the comeout if the shooter rolls 2 or 3. There is a push if the shooter rolls 12. In the case of a push nobody wins and nobody loses. The Don't Pass Bet loses if the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11. The Don't Pass bet pays 1 to 1 odds. Odds bet on the Don't Pass bet You can make an Odds bet on the Don't Pass bet after the shooter establishes the point. To make an odds bet you have to click on your original Don't Pass bet. If the point number is a 4 or a 10 the payout is 2:1. If the point number is a 5 or a 9 the payout is 3:1. If you have a 6 or a 8 the payout is 6:5. The Don't Come Bet The Don't Come bet is the opposite of the Come Bet. The Don't Come bet can only be made while the shooter is trying to repeat the point-number. Click on the Don't Come button to place a Don't Come Bet. You can make odds bets on the don’t come bets. C & E Bet The C bet is exactly the same as a bet on any craps. The E bet is the same as a bet on eleven. This is just another place to make those bets.
