Craps is very easy to play. The current player rolls a seven and the game starts. After the current player rolls a seven a new player is given the dice. Before rolling the dice the new player has to make a bet. Players can make either a pass line or don’t pass line bet. ‘Comeout roll’ is another name for the process of rolling the dice. It is called a ‘pass’ if the total rolled is either 7 or 11. If the player makes a pass the pass line bets win and don’t pass lines lose. If the total rolled is 2,3,12 it is called ‘craps’. In the case of “craps” pass line bets lose and don’t pass line bets win. 12 is not taken for ‘craps’ in Las Vegas and 2 is not taken for ‘craps’ in Tahoe. If the total is any other number this number is called a place number or a point number. In the case of a ‘point’ the shooter continues to roll until that "point" is rolled again, which is called "making the point". With "making the point" "pass line" bets win and "don't pass" bets lose. ’Sevening out’ is the same as rolling a 7. If a 7 is rolled before the second point number "pass line" bets lose and "don't pass" bets win. If a player sevens out, his turn is over and the whole process begins again with a new player. In the case of a “point” number players can choose one of the bets. You can make bets on each subsequent roll of the dice until a 7 is rolled.

The main idea of the game is that you place a bet on what is referred to as the “passline bet”. All players place bets and then a pair of dice is rolled. The dice are rolled and if the total is 7 or 11 you win. You lose if you roll 12, 3 or 2. If the total is any other number except 7,11,12,3,2 this number is called a point number. If you roll a point number this number must be rolled again before the seven for you to win anything. If the total of 7 is rolled before the point number it is a loss. New York Craps is one of the Craps variations. New York Craps is played along the East coast of the United States. The table and the layout for New York craps differ from the standard bank craps table, and it is called a double-end dealer. There is no Come/Don’t Come betting area on the table for New York craps. New York Craps eliminates the Place bets. Players bet on numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, and the bets are paid at true odds. Be aware that the house takes a 5% commission on each right bet. All Craps Variations

There are several bets in Craps.
Line bets.
If you want to make a line bet, you place your money on the area of the table that says "Pass Line" or "Don't Pass". You have to choose either ‘Pass line’ or ‘don’t pass line’ bet. Line bets pay even money if they win. You place your bet on a ‘pass line bet’ area if you think that the shooter will roll 7 or 11 on the comeout roll or that the shooter will role one of the point numbers and will roll it again before rolling a 7 (sevening out). If you think that the shooter will roll 2 or 3 on the comeout roll or will roll a 7 after rolling a point number and before rolling this point number again you choose a ‘don’t pass line bet’ area. The Pass Line Bet is one of the most common wagers in Craps. To make a pass line bet click on the Pass Line area of the table. If you have chosen a pass line bet and a 7 or 11 is rolled you win. If 2,3 or 12 is rolled you lose. If the point is rolled you are to continue rolling until you have the same number. If you roll the same number without rolling 7 you win. If you seven out before rolling the point number again you lose. The Pass Line Bet pays 1 to 1 odds. The Odds Bet isn’t as common as the pass line bet.

A bet on a point number is called a place bet. It is not necessary to make pass or come bets. Place bets can be made by simply clicking on the Place area on the craps table. The place bet is turned off by default during a comeout roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet.
Big 6 and Big 8 bets are like regular place bets. In the case of a win with Big 6 or 8 you get paid 1:1. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet.
The Place Bet allows you to bet directly on a point-number without having to make a Pass Line or Come bet. To make a place bet you have to click on the Place area on the craps table. The place bet is turned off by default during a comeout roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet.
The Don't Pass Bet is the opposite of the Pass Line bet. Click on the corresponding area of the betting layout to make a Don't Pass bet. The Don't Pass Bet wins on the comeout if the shooter rolls 2 or 3. There is a push if the shooter rolls 12. In the case of a push nobody wins and nobody loses. The Don't Pass Bet loses if the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11. The Don't Pass bet pays 1 to 1 odds. Odds bet on the Don't Pass bet You can make an Odds bet on the Don't Pass bet after the shooter establishes the point. To make an odds bet you have to click on your original Don't Pass bet. If the point number is a 4 or a 10 the payout is 2:1. If the point number is a 5 or a 9 the payout is 3:1. If you have a 6 or a 8 the payout is 6:5. The Don't Come Bet The Don't Come bet is the opposite of the Come Bet. The Don't Come bet can only be made while the shooter is trying to repeat the point-number. Click on the Don't Come button to place a Don't Come Bet. You can make odds bets on the don’t come bets. C & E Bet The C bet is exactly the same as a bet on any craps. The E bet is the same as a bet on eleven. This is just another place to make those bets.
