> Craps Variations
There are several craps variations, which differ in rules, odds and settings.
Crapless Craps is one of the Craps variations. "Bastard Craps" is another name for Crapless Craps. Crapless Craps can be played in nearly every las Vegas casino. The main feature of the game is that a player cannot lose on the come out roll. If you throw a standard craps (2, 3 or 12) you don’t lose and the number becomes a point. Natural 11s on the come out become the point number. The natural 7 wins on the come out roll. The only way for the shooter to lose is to throw a 7 before the point. There is no Don’t Pass or Don’t Come area on the table. The game is simplier, but the house edge is approximately four times greater than in the crappy version of craps!
Simplified Craps is one of the craps variations. The shooter wins when throwing a 2, 3, 4, 10, 11 or 12 and loses when throwing a 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9. The house advantage in Siplified Craps is 2.8%. The payout depends on the total rolled. If the total is 2 the payout is 3:1. if the total is 3 or 4 the payout is 1:1. If the total is 10 or 11 the payout is 2:1. If the total is 12 the payout is 5:1.
High Point Craps is one of the Craps variations. In High Point Craps a dice roll of 11 or 12 wins automatically. A come out roll of 2 or 3 is ignored. If the shooter rolls anything other than 2, 3, 11 or 12 on the come out roll, that number becomes the point number. The shooter must roll a number other than the point number to win. All payoffs are 1:1. The house edge is 2.35%.
New York Craps is one of the Craps variations. New York Craps is played along the East coast of the United States. The table and the layout for New York craps differ from the standard bank craps table, and it is called a double-end dealer. There is no Come/Don’t Come betting area on the table for New York craps. New York Craps eliminates the Place bets. Players bet on numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, and the bets are paid at true odds. Be aware that the house takes a 5% commission on each right bet.
Private Craps is one of the Craps variations. Private Craps is never played at casinos. Private Craps is played among gambling individuals who make bets between themselves.
Open Craps is one of the Craps variations. Open Craps is an illegal private version of craps. Open Craps is a high-stakes, big money game. Open Craps is played in a private gaming location. Open craps is privately staked, and all bets are made in cash. The stakes often exceed house limits found in casinos. The table layout for Open Craps is different from that for astandard Craps. The table consists of a Win Line, a Lose Line and box numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10. Players can make bets with the book or they can make side bets with other players. The book usually takes out a 5% commission on right money.

There are several bets in Craps. Line bets. If you want to make a line bet, you place your money on the area of the table that says "Pass Line" or "Don't Pass". You have to choose either ‘Pass line’ or ‘don’t pass line’ bet. Line bets pay even money if they win. You place your bet on a ‘pass line bet’ area if you think that the shooter will roll 7 or 11 on the comeout roll or that the shooter will role one of the point numbers and will roll it again before rolling a 7 (sevening out). If you think that the shooter will roll 2 or 3 on the comeout roll or will roll a 7 after rolling a point number and before rolling this point number again you choose a ‘don’t pass line bet’ area. The Pass Line Bet is one of the most common wagers in Craps. To make a pass line bet click on the Pass Line area of the table. If you have chosen a pass line bet and a 7 or 11 is rolled you win. If 2,3 or 12 is rolled you lose. If the point is rolled you are to continue rolling until you have the same number. If you roll the same number without rolling 7 you win. If you seven out before rolling the point number again you lose. The Pass Line Bet pays 1 to 1 odds. The Odds Bet isn’t as common as the pass line bet.

A bet on a point number is called a place bet. It is not necessary to make pass or come bets. To make a place bet you have to click on the Place area on the craps table. The place bet is turned off by default during a comeout roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet.

Big 6 and Big 8 bets are like regular place bets. In the case of a win with Big 6 or 8 you get paid 1:1. Big 6 and Big 8 bets are turned off by default during a come out roll. To force the bet on, hold down the shift key and click directly on the bet.

The Don't Pass Bet is the opposite of the Pass Line bet. Click on the corresponding area of the betting layout to make a Don't Pass bet. The Don't Pass Bet wins on the comeout if the shooter rolls 2 or 3. There is a push if the shooter rolls 12. In the case of a push nobody wins and nobody loses. The Don't Pass Bet loses if the shooter rolls a 7 or a 11. The Don't Pass bet pays 1 to 1 odds. Odds bet on the Don't Pass bet You can make an Odds bet on the Don't Pass bet after the shooter establishes the point. To make an odds bet you have to click on your original Don't Pass bet. If the point number is a 4 or a 10 the payout is 2:1. If the point number is a 5 or a 9 the payout is 3:1. If you have a 6 or a 8 the payout is 6:5. The Don't Come Bet The Don't Come bet is the opposite of the Come Bet. The Don't Come bet can only be made while the shooter is trying to repeat the point-number. Click on the Don't Come button to place a Don't Come Bet. You can make odds bets on the don’t come bets. C & E Bet The C bet is exactly the same as a bet on any craps. The E bet is the same as a bet on eleven. This is just another place to make those bets.
